Hi,
I have SBC Yahoo DSL, and I have noticed that when I log off, the computer asks if I want to disconnect the dial-up connection. But the weird thing is that I have DSL, what's up with that? Should I let it be, or what should i do, I know it is a broadband connection, but why is the computer saying it's dial-up?

because sbc doesnt know what its doind :P if its not making any problems y not just leave it like that.

You will have to review the settings in Outlook to see if dialing up a predetermined number is checked there. The support site for SBC would be the place to look for information or for contacting support. A friend called a 24/7 tech line for another ISP and was given dialup setup instructions for a dedicated dsl line that is supposed to active 24/7! Now he has to log on just as if he was dialing a network number. Check your account properties to see if a specific Lan setting has been set. Otherwise call SBC's 1-800 support number to get things straghtened out.
