Desktop Issue

I had to restart my computer since I was removing some programs to install Kaspersky, and I uninstalled Avast!, and after I hit my BIOS, a problem I've had in the past occurred. I'm experiencing a black back lit screen after my BIOS shows, usually I'll see this screen for a second or two, and it'll blink and my cursor will appear, and it'll be fine.

But I tried loading fail-safe defaults, and the other reset option in the BIOS, resetting my CMOS, and booting with one card.

I tried booting into Safe Mode, and after it loads the list, it looks like it froze, so..

Any ideas?

I ended up fixing it, with my OS DVD, but now my ethernet isn't working. I tried using the board's disk, the latest drivers off the site, and a system restore..

Any ideas?

Have you tried deleting the driver in device manager and letting windows choose a driver?
When you install the driver what does device manager say?
Is it picking up the driver?

I tried uninstalling then reinstalling the driver, no luck. I'll contact EVGA tomorrow if I have to.

Any other ideas?

OK, now is that the same as the nForce drivers off NVIDIA's site? It's the same version, and I keep trying to install it, it asks to overwrite it..

Nevermind.

I think you should try Driversweeper to get rid of any trace of your old drivers and reinstall.

Nevermind what I thought were LAN drivers from EVGA.

You have the right ones. The nForce drivers.

That's what I thought, but I only see:
AGEIA - PhysX
ATi - Display
Creative - Sound
Microsoft - Mouse
NVIDIA - Chipset
NVIDIA - Display
Realtek - Sound

After this post, you led me on to a driver I already had, and didn't resolve the LAN drivers.

This is all I am seeing:
