i really wish that they made an lcd smaller than 20" that would go 1600x1200, cause as a 16 year old, i cant swing the $ of a 20", so its 1280x1024 for me and my 17" lcd.

2 x 1280x1024 on 19" Diamond Pro 930SB's through a FX5600XT giving a total of 2560x1024 (It might be cheating but works for me!)

we should do another poll similar to this and have different groups. ie: split up the people who have flat panels, and flat screens, as well as the size of the monitor... then we could get a more accurate assumption as to who uses what sizes. i tried using the smalleset size so i could fit more programs on the screen but my mom couldn't see the icons as well so she told me to change it back lol

Err... STOP USING 1280x1024 IF YOU DON'T HAVE AN LCD!!!

1280x1024 does not keep the aspect ratio that 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 1152x864 and 1600x1200 do.

If you want to get a resolution similar to 1280x1024, without incorrect text and graphic dimensions, use 1280x960.

Yea, I use 1280x960 for that very reason and the fact it automaticly drops by refresh rate to 60Hz which just kills my eyes. It's 70 Hz or nothing
