I have a small budget for a desktop. I'll mostly be using it for programming with visual studio, sql server and sharepoint 2010. Other usage is regular internet usage and movies. No gaming.
A friend recommended Phenom but I am leaning towards Athlon for cost considerations. What configuration would you all recommend for me to get good performance for what I want to do? I'm planning to buy the computer and not build it.
