Desktop Upgrading questions.

ill definitely look into that one when I go to replace the PSU.
The next upgrade for me if a new monitor (sis managed to knock mine off in the floor, which busted the LCD quite badly.)

OK, so I am now looking to upgrade to dedicate graphics. Is there a PCI or AGP card that you all would recommend??

Okay, So I have a direct line on a 478 pin Celeron D running at 3.06 GHZ and 512 (maybe more, still working on that)MB DDR RAM.

Found out that I have 2 SATA ports (only 1.5 GB/s) and working on a RAID card to add some more SATA ports to it. That is for a DVD super multi drve, a media card reader, and some 7200 RPM HDD's for it. Build is coming along very nicely.

That is good I am glad to hear that Sorry I didnt put any imput into the video card question, the only AGP Video card I have is the ATI Radeon card that I have in my GF's computer. The other one is on my p4 and it is a GeForce GT 120 in the newer port, I dont remember what that port is called right now tho :/ I just built another computer the pics are in this forum

Ok, so I have found a Raedon HD3650 for it (AGP). Needs a 300 Watt PSU to run, but I figure that I will buy a new PSU at the same time that I get rid of all that PATA stuff in there. (not to mention that it will clean up the cable management).

Got a 478 pin Celeron-D at 3.06 GHZ, 1 GB DDR RAM, (2x512MB), and a 500 watt PSU. All are installed (It gave me quite a fight on accepting the change, but that is all straitened out). Its running 100% better than it was.
