desktop vs tower

what would you say is better because towers get in the ay abit but desktops when you want to add new harware to it youve got to take your monitor off to get inside it can anyone help???

I prefer a tower as you can fit more in them but still have space for air flow to cool everything, and its then very easy to add & remove bits.
If you worried about space on your desk, then you can either put it under or next to the desk, and if you have a TFT screen you should also have enough space to fit the tower behind it.

I prefer towers over desktops because there is more room for expansion, i think they usually look better, and they can get better air circulation. (Also easier to fit mobo's in)

??? dang ... and i thought i saw it all .... DUDE! It's your own bloody prefrence :P (although the airflow is prolly better on the ...[should be somewhat obvious], tower)

This decision should be based either on your personal preference, or the space you have available in your office or at home.
