Desktop Wallpaper Disappears

G'day guys,

Just joined the forum today. I've been experiencing a problem with the wallpaper on my desktop. If I select a wallpaper for desktop it appears & stays for a while but after some time it just disappears!
Desktop goes black.
I don't have different users or no other complicacy. Tried google it & followed some strategies but can't fix it:confused:.
Please help......
NB: operating system : "XP"

What operating system are you using? Windows Vista? Windows XP? Another one?
Check that the image you selected is not being deleted.

Get rid of all applications like StyleXP or WindowBlinds or other apps that can change the theme windows has.

don't have anything like those apps.....
