Desperate help needed

my mouse stopped moving and itunes started repeating the split second of the song i was playing and it did nothing, it was like a full on crash, i powered down and on again and the HP logo screen appeared but it would go no further than that.... hard drive light wouldn't light performed diagnostics, the CPU and Ram passed but the HD failed.... went to town, got my money came back, still wouldnt boot, turned off left it 2 mins and here I am........
mine cant die now! i have years of college to go through yet!!!
Had a BSOD last night aswell :confused:
 
It sounds like your hard drive took a dump on you. was it making any odd noises or doing anything differently before this happened? stuff like read/write errors. Re-word what happened so normal people can read it please
 
The type of crash you described definitely corresponds to a hard drive failure. Sorry buddy, but it sounds like your hard drive is done for.
 
aww dude........ my sister has the same PC is in repair at the moment for the same thing its not good :mad: my warranty expires on october 1st so i guess I have some time. Thanks for your help guys
 
name brand pc companies like HP always gives the crappiest hardware try buying your own computer parts and building your own PC, no warranty but it saves alot of hassle cause it will most likely last longer
