detecting array

Googled this...
>i just build my new PC and im haveing trouble, when i boot the
> computer up i say's (Detecting array...no disk reserved for raid
> use, Raid disabled). can anybody help me with this issue.

If you don't have any hard drives connected to the raid controller, then you
can ignore the message. You can speed up the boot process somewhat if you're
not using the raid controller by disabling it in the bios (this will also
get rid of the message).

Hope this helps.

that didn't work. I don't understand what the problem is since nothing was changed. I took the hardware out of one case and put it into another. No settings were changed. The computer will not load past "detecting array". The power connectors were reversed when I first put everything together and turned it on. Could this have damaged my hard drive? Just isn't making any since to me.

Yes that could damage your HDD. I do not understand how you can flip it over and still plug it in though :D try another HDD. :P
