I just upgraded my friends Dell that he got back in 2002. I added more ram a new HDD, add a ethernet card, burner, PSU and reinstalled windows xp. The system is workin great. The issue is that his dial-up speed has dropped I was only able to test by using dls but not dial-up. He gets a quick connection but his browsing has gone super slow. The only thing I can think of is that the drivers that came with the dell modem was out dated and dell had the latest one when they had made the system. The modem is BCM V.92 56K Modem.
