Thanks 4 readin my ad, i curently have dial up internet and can not change 2 broadband as it is not available in my area, is there any way 2 split my fne line so it doesnt become tied. i cant afford 2 get another line and want 2 use the line i currently have but doent want it 2 b engaged.

I would start out by realizing the FOR and 4(four) are two different words/symbols.

Same with to, too, and 2(two)

There are programs that you can get for your PC that will have a little message popup from the taskbar to say that somebody is calling so you can get off your PC.

Why not consider the easier option. Apply for an ISDN man, this splits 1 phone line into 2, in which you can use 1 of them for the internet and the other as a normal phone at the same time.
