I have an old Mesh machine that I have no used in years. It has a lot of info on it which I could really do with. I bought an external hard drive with the hope of copying all the files from the mesh on to but the machine would not start up. I thought I would be able to remove the Hard Drive and plug it in to the box that my new external drive came in but when I saw the old hard drive I realised it was much bigger.
The old one is a Maxtor DiamondMax 10, is there any way I can retrieve that info from this with a conversion cable or something like that?
Help would be greatly appreciated. I am a refrigeration engineer so not too up to date with my computer knowledge.
