my friend said he could get me a really good deal for a gaming computer i paid him 300$ but idk i think i got ripped off... i dont know anything about computers can anyone help??
 
i think i copied it right... did i miss anything? is this stuff any good??

gigabyte GA-970A-D3 motherboard
EVGA GTX 650Ti graphic card
8GB corsair vengeance ddr3
120GB samsung 840 ssd
AMD FX-8350 Processor
 
Not a bad system, same motherboard and cpu I have. What is the exact model number of power supply do you have?
 
Well worth it. The 650ti is a little weak but all depends on what types of games you will be playing.

Oops not the same motherboard I have. Should serve you well.
 
i dont care if its not ultra but i will probably be playing BF4, Witcher 3, ES online, Star Citizen, GTA5 and other similar stuff

I personally don't think that's really worth it yet.

My friend has an 8350 paired with a 650 TI and can play pretty much anything on highest settings save for a few games. OP mentioned he wasn't super interested in bleeding edge graphic settings so the money probably isn't worth it yet.
 
thanks everyone. i tried doing some research because this made me want to get into hardware and i have a question: isnt the cpu not quite as important as the gpu yet the one in my build costs more than the gpu?
