Did nVidia just take the lead of the Video Card market?

Well it does win overall, but it's not too far ahead of the 7970.if the 7970 dropped to like 450 or so i think they'd be pretty close in value.
 
I am more excited for the price drops on the GTX 5xx series. And also AMD will slash their prices of the HD 7XXX series. I was waiting for the GTX 6XX series not only because of their performance but also because of the GPU price regulation. AMD's pricing is a bit much according to me for their 7970 and 7950.
I might get a used GTX 580 under warranty and under a year used.
