yeah, theres just no market for laptops, they overheat and lack top of the line equipment so the market just stayed with company manufacturers

What are you talking about? You can get an FX-60 and 2x 7900GTX 512MB SLI cards in a laptop, not to mention 2 hard drives in raid.

Most people dont build them because it's much harder, and you dont save much (if any) money by building your own, since you still need to buy a barebones kit.

What I find better, is to buy a cheap(er) laptop, and upgrade it. Saves all the hassle of finding laptop cases, etc... (I found it hard to buy a laptop case).

You usually by a laptop barebones kit, which includes the motherboard, chassis, screen, and video card. Then you buy everything else seperatly.

How is that? I have never seen that on the market of 2 7900gtx for a laptop. I thought heat restraints for now can't handle the power of those cards.

If you go to nVidia's website, somewhere on the GeForceGo page you can see that they offer SLI in notebooks, and the 7900GTX is an option. I think i've also seen ads for them in MaximumPC.
