Difference between 32 and 64 bit Windows

I have a install key for Windows 7 Home Premium. It will work with 32 and 64 bit. I was wondering the advantages or disadvantages of each, and which to install. Or if it is worth it to install both.

Thanks!

The key will let you install the 32-bit OR 64-bit but not both. The only reasons to go with 32-bit are if you machine has 2G of RAM or less or if you need to run software which requires special drivers and those drivers aren't available for 64-bit.

a 64-bit machine can run 64-bit apps as well as the great majority of 32-bit apps.
