What are the differences between these two boards?

I can get a z68x for $120 and a z77x for $150. Is there a huge difference that justifies the extra $30, or am I fine with a z68 ud3h?

How do I know if a video card is compatible with a MoBo?

Also, does z77x and z68x motherboards include WiFi compatibility?

1. The chipset is about the only difference.
2. if it fits the socket then it will work. thise boards will work with any PCIe graphics cards, all the way back to the geforce 6000/7000 days up to the GTX690 and their AMD counterparts.
3. Most of the time not. But it is only about $20 to get a wireless adapter for it.

2) So a MoBo that says 2.0x16 is only compatible with a videocard that says 2.0x16?

no. if it is PCIe x16 it will work reguardless of version in these motherboards.

The chipset Z77 has integrated USB3 and a few other ivy bridge features. Z68 does not have these native but rather from external chips.

Ahh, got it. One last question, can you recommend a video card that fits a z68 MoBo? I'm looking at Sapphire Radeon HD 6850. Any better options than that? I can get it for $150.

hd 6870 is about the lowest you want to go gaming. If you do anything graphic other than games then get a GTX560 or GTX 560ti.

It is not low per se, but it is low medium. really at this point the 6870 is a bare minimum at 1080p and above you need a 7850. The extra power of the 6870 is worth the money.
