Ok what are the differences between standard atx cases and the lan party micro towers...

I mean I have never seen one in person :(
but is the only differnce size?
because from the pictures it does not look like a mobo,psu and video card can even fit...:?

well I was just thinking about buildin one for a friend and was just wondering is it the same as building a normal comp?

"lan party micro tower" is a general description (which means u wont get a coomplete answer cuz it doesnt refer to a particular case) but they're gennerally smaller and more emphasis on bling
 
Those things are so small! Idk how people fit their components in there and I'm sure they get plenty hot.
 
so if i get all the crap for a new comp....mobo,h.d.d,psu,etc..etc.. and get that little case it will be fine?

and what do you mean Preator by emphasis on bling?
 
You're going to have to check the detailed specs on all components to see if they "should Fit". Personaly, I would not buy a small mini tower fothese reasons:
Add ons later will probably not be possible
Hard as hell to work inside with everything so crowded
Third, and most importantly, Heat problems, everything cramped into a small case with poor vntilation. A mid-tower with plenty of fans and fan ports and very roomy will save you many problems in the future. The bigger the cpu,the more heat is produces, and heat kills processors. A steel case hold heat more than aluninum.
Check the reviews on theAspire X Navigator for example, a good starting point

no lol I already have a comp...a pretty good one IMO look at sig...

the reason I would like to get one is, i would like to build it/put it together and then leave it at a friends house for like a month then take it back lol...

but when I go places its really much easier to carry a small 10-15 pound box then a huge atx case..lol

I wont be needing to work inside because what ever I get for it is staying the same untill....well untill the comp explodes for reasons unknown...

idk about the heat problems....ill have to look up on that..as in ( how to fix it)

lastly...IF I do go ahead and decide to build this I definatly wont be getting a amd x2 or w.e....maybe just a simple 3500+ or so..

i mean I wont want this comp to be like a "lil_god" or w.e just good enought to be used....BUT at the same time no pentium celeron lol

Nice. I was actually thinking of buying one of these cases because I love going to LAN parties with my geeky lil' friends:D. However, the ventilation was very poor on these things so i would rather lug a larger case around then have something burn up inside. How does the new Fragbox work? The sff case is really small and it has awesome components! do they put a 120mm fan on each side?:P

Meaning that peole often have these cute pretty boxes but under the hood it doesnt perform.
