Difference between the two models of 3500 SAME core

different socket how hard is it? why would they name the processor's the same if they performed a lot differently. get the newer 3500+ normally newer steppings have some sort of issues fixed... not that they had any. probly runs a bit cooler at a lower voltage.
btw you already made a thread about this.

2.No I didn't the thread was abotu something else, it was comparing a AM2 and a 939.

3.I wouldn't know which was newer, this is what this post is about?

Have you read the posts?

This thread is NOT about any AM2 CPU, they are BOTH sockey 939's. Read my psots and go to the links. They are both Socket 939s and A64 3500+ and I want to know what the differences are. This is NOT about any AM2 CPU.

Edit: I see you changed that post. :P Anyways, Yeah, one you are aloud to do combo deals with. The model number on the CPU is actully different though, altong with one is 1.35V and the other is 1.35/1.4V

WEll I didn't know you were going to correct it :P

The difference is the one with the CG surfix in the OPN is physically a Manchester Rev. BH-E4 with an entire Core disabled while the BP one is a regular Venice Rev. DH-E3.

Also is also a E4 revision while the other is a E6 revision. They erform exactly the same, it was jsut to lower roduction costs for AMD.

e4 is a later stepping. get the e4.
the one with this model if you were wondering
ADA3500CGBOX
Isn;t the E6 the newest? and I'm retty sure(not 100%) that the model mnumber you ut is the E6 so i dont know if one or the other was a tyo or maybe I'm jsut wrong, but I am almost ositive that its the E6 and the E6 is the newer one.
