Difference between these rams?

I am looking ot purchase ram for my computer, i have recently been told that my computer can hold pc2700. So I figured since i have 256, ill get a 512 stick (totaling out at 768 mb or something like that), and that should be more than enough to run most any game i want to play correct?

Now i am looking at newegg.com at the pc2700 512mb sticks and they range from 48 bucks to over 100 bucks. And I am not seeing much if any difference between them. My question is, is it worth it to spend

i see no difference other than brand name. Am i paying the extra 25 bucks for the simpletech brand name or is it worth the extra cash?

If your not going to overclock just go with the lower price.

Overclocking isnt gonna play an issue here because we dont know enough about the RAM to make that call

get a stick of 1gb not 512 1gb will be plenty fast enough
