difference from copy to send to a 3 1/2 floppy

what is the difference from copy to 3 1/2floppy or to send .,I tried both with some simple drivers , the copy takes 5 minutes the send goes quick. now say I want to install these drivers on another computer from the floppy what is the best way to do it to copy to floppy or to send to floppy from one computer then insert into other computer and open and send to a program file on that computer

the only thing I can think of is send cuts it where copy copies it, but I'm not sure on that and there should be little speed difference
