Difference in RAM? One is $60 on eBay and the other is $100 on Tiger Direct?

Hi,

I want to know why the RAM sticks are priced so differently if they are the same amount (1gb) and both are pc3200?

The seller on ebay has a 100% rating with 3000+ reviews so it's not like he is going to scam me or something..

Can someone tell me if RAM sticks are the same no matter what model / price or is there a difference?

Seriously, how else are we supposed to tell you why. Perhaps they are different makes/models, older or newer, etc.

Theres no links. But if they are the same exact thing then I have no idea why one is cheaper.
 
Well one of those is corsair the other is generic. The corsair RAM probably has better timings but you are also paying a little for the name.
