x1900gt

Obviously some of the numbers are different and the difference may seem obvious to some. I just want to know the difference as it relates to gaming and if why one should be selected over the other, as far as longevity and useage are concerned. (which one would I get the most use of in time and money).

They are comparable in price. Also are ahoth a suitable upgrade from my current PCIe Radeon x1300.

(btw I am not completly computer iliterate I just want my questions to be clear. :-) )

Suggestions for other cards would be appreciated as well, particulary brand and reasons why.

I would go with the x1900GT, especially since it supports SM3.

And I have a 256MB video card. My todays game standards, you really shouldn't have less then 256MB.
