Different size ram in dual channel mode?

Hi guys,

As you can see in the attached image, it stated DUAL under Channel # (CPUZ)

But as far i know in order to run dual channel mode the rams have to in same Size, Type, Frequency and so on. But from what you can see in the picture it is a 2GB ram and 1GM ram.

so i wonder is it possible to run dual channel even the size is different or cpuz get the data wrongly?

Its says Symmetric Dual Channel. But if you have different amounts in each channel its really running in Asymmetric Dual Channel
