Different type of 8400 gs

Hey I bought a video card today and quake 4 thinking I was really doing something but my 8400 has different specs it has 512 mb ddr2bandwidth of 9.6 gb I did have a radeon x600 256mb was that ati just as good as this 8400gs with more memory?

well when I played call of duty 1.1 online now after the switch today its seems a little bit more jerky and I am not able to move good the closer i get to other players what is really causeing this major new lagg if its better. Just curious have most things set on peformance not nicest. Ping went up also about a hundred.

Make sure you have the correct, updated drivers. Other than that you can chalk it up to the card, a 8400gs is not very good, regardless of memory. It might compare to an x600 IMO, I've not looked at benchies, and am just guessing though
