Direct X11... What Benefit will it give me?

As the title says, what benefit will DX11 give me in games?

I want to get a new GPU, but DX11 is holding me back. Should I wait or get a new GFX card?

I heard DX10 cards can use most the features DX11 provides...

Should I get A GTX295 or 4870X2?

Im Thinking X2 cause its DX10.1, and cause it has a tesselation unit (Which im sure will work well, or better with DX11)

What do you think?
 
yes at 4800 cards are not as fast as gtx295 but they suport dx 11 better much better.....in fact all features will be enabled on hd4800 series cards....not just because they are dx 10.1 hd300 series is also dx10.1 but....it's they way 4800 series is built.
