directx 3A

Im using Windows 7 and would like to take a look at some old games I have when I had Window 95. I have change the property to run as Windows 95.

One of the games I have been trying install, keeps stopping during the "install"
stage and says

"Directx 3A final release"

How can I sort out this issues? wouldn't the never versions cover 3 as well?

look at running the games in a virtual dos box, it will take care of most of your issues if not all of them
