Hello, I have an MSI RX800 ATI video card. The video card works great for playing movies and everything else. BUT........when I play a game such as FarCry or when my gf tries to play Roller Coaster Tycoon, strange things are happenning. The video seems great, its not choppy or lagging but the textures (such as the grass and trees) change rapidly. I first noticed this when I was using google earth.
Also, I ran dxdiag and ran the directX tests and the problem was there as well. In this situation, the cube remained a cube, but the large green X kept changing proportions, especially around the center.
So far, I have uninstalled the video card and installed older versions of the drivers. I also went to the directX site and installed any necessary updates. I have had this computer for a year with no problems at all. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
