Discs recoverry creation

Hi,

I am trying to create dics recovery on my Window Vista home to my own discs.
If using CD, it needs 23 disks, if DVD , it needs 3 dvd. I was using CD and finished CD# 4 out of 23. So I would like to go back to re-do it and use DVD instead of CD. But the problem is Vista window won't let to re-do, it always asked to continue for CD creation. Even I reset computer, and then go to Discs creation option, then it still popped up the continue CD creation, it never go back to ask me choosing CD , DVD ... option anymore.

Please help
 
Might try taking back to a earlier date. Never used Vista though and dont know including your program. Your right with dvd's though. I keep a few dual layer dvd's available. you can get a 3 or 5 pack also.

Another thought: Your prone to having one of them go bad. Could happen.

I tried to go back earlier day, but still doesn't work.
 
If this is a store bought pc then they usually only allow you to make recovery cd's one time only. That's why you need to make sure you have everything in order. I would suggest contacting the system maker for the recovery cd's.
 
I give it up.
I am going to buy a replacement recovery disc. Can anyone give me the right website to order it? My computer is HP pavilon dv4.
