Disk cleanup

I keep getting a message that I have low disc space but when I try to do disk cleanup this little box comes up saying that it is calculating how much space it will be able to clean up but it never does, it just sits there for hours.

Is there anything else I can do to create space on my hard drive?

If your hard drive is getting full it will take a while...try leaving it running over night. Also goto add/remove programs in the control panel and remove any software you no longer use/need.

It wouldnt hurt to download and run CCleaner either.

all that does it delete your temporary internet files and other temp files. nothing you cant do yourself.

maybe try deleting some of those mp3s

put music, pics, works, on cd's and when you need them well you have them and they take no place on your computer

That's not uncommon it to over 48 hours for some of the computers to calculate how much space for that.
