ok when I turned on the computer at my church I got the BSOD. There was 1 long beep and then 2 short beeps which is a display adapter problem. The file name was nv4.disp Anybody know whats wrong.

You named the answer already. Generally but not on all boards depending who made the bios chip(Phoenix, Award, AMI, etc.) that would indicate a failed video card. The file referred to there is a video driver. But a video driver is a software item where a bios alert would signify a hardware fault.

so the video card is becoming faulty?

and also, when I turned the computer off, the hard drive buzzed VERY loudly.

That is the no video beep... Try reseating the card and see what happens.

As for the HD buzz...I have NO idea seeing as that's totally unrelated! Does it work without the video card(onboard or old video card?)

*edit* I guess if you got that file had an error the system can boot?

What make and model is the board? The specifications will show who made the bios. Since you are seeing a picture that could be pointing at memory if not a card being seen by the board. Are you sure it was the hard drive that made the buzzing sound?
