Display out of alignment!

I broke the screen on my EEE pc so I replaced the screen. But now the Screen is slight out of alignment. Is there a way I can adjust it like you would on a desktop monitor?

I wish I could help but the best thing I can think to do is maybe take it to a local repair shop and see if they can help.
 
Yeh I think it will be taking it apart or nothing atm! Was hoping I wouldn't have to do that as it's a real pain. And also the tape holding the keyboard down has to be yanked off which I don't like.

An alternative but brutal solution could be to sand the top frame of the bezel until the hidden screen is exposed. I don't plan on ever selling it on so a little DIY couldn't hurt! :)

As long as I drew an outline carefuly with a ruler I could probs do a pretty ok job on it
 
hmm..sounds like fun...but i dont think i would do that if it were up to me. there is a good chance that something could go wrong and if it does, then you are screwed. Plus it messes up the look of the laptop as well.
