I'm trying to set up a 3 monitor set up. I have a 19" standard, a 22" WS and a 21.5" WS set up. The 19" and 22" both have VGA and DVI and the 21.5" has VGA, DVI, and HDMI.
Now, I'm looking for a video card that can fit into this setup. I don't know anything about the Nvidias that can do this, so those aren't in consideration at the moment (though if someone wants to share their wisdom, it's welcomed).
From my understanding the Radeon 58** series is what I need (for the Eyefinity tech), but it's also my understanding that they use DisplayPort. From reading Wikipedia, it seems that DisplayPort and HDMI are not the same thing? Is this correct? If so, is there a DisplayPort -> HDMI converter? Or am I sunk if one of my monitors doesn't have a DisplayPort...port natively?
