My friend is an inspiring DJ.
Hes looking for some serious music mixer/editor.

I don't know much about DJ software and stuff. But if you can recommend any software thats useful for DJ's that'd be great.

Quite old now, but its free (pay to unlock extra features), thats MJ Studio.

More up to date one will be Virtual DJ. Get a 20 day free trial, loads of settings, buttions, options, etc... and even get some really funky skins for it too.
