DMA Driver error, CRC eroor

the title is the error i get word for word.
im using nero 7 ultra edition.
i just got a new dual core processor, and an ECS KN1 sli mobo as my signature indicated.
im not sure what the problem could be, maybe IDE drivers?
i duno.. any help would be appreciated.

1. What version of Nero? (full version number)
2. Can you post your error log?
3. What burner make and model of burner do you have?

ok i did some testing... turns out it has to be my drive.
my cd burner will burn cds fine with nero, but the dvd burner wont burn dvds or cds... with itunes, or nero!
wow gay. many a dvd did it burn before it died. if you think its something else however, ill be checking back, no doubt!

nevermind... i got it burning again. the PROBLEM was my damn MOBO!... ahh well, the IDE hookup was defective... either that or not hooked in tightly. either way, i plugged it into the other one and its working fine since.
thanks for the suggestions though.
