Hello :)

DNSChanger is a certain piece of malware that has infected computers worldwide.

This is a page put out by the Australian Goverment, it will show you if you're infected and will also tell you more about DNSChanger:

Can't wait to see the influx of customers that come into work today that can't connect to the internet.
 
sorry if this derails, but what is the maleware that does this? Is it something that would be caught by Malewarebytes? would a fresh install fix it? Im not being kicked by any of my computers, but they regularly have reinstalls most of the time.

It's malware called DNSChanger. If you can't get online, then you probably have it. There's a list of software that can remove it.

I got doomed at home. if I can't get online to the site to fix the problem, how can I fix it? Tdsskiller is in the list for fix this thing. Can I download at the work computer and carry home to fix that? Can someone list the ip address for tdsskiller. at home I can connect to the site if I type the ip address instead the name.

Will all the computers connected to the same router be infected?

They said on the news you could call your provider and they will step you through it.
At least here for WOW, ATT Uverse and Comcast.
 
It's not as widespread as they thought it was gonna be. I think I heard them say only 70,000 sytems were infected.
 
I was nearly infected, but Avast InternetSecurity stopped it. I know it was this cos it said it found malware and it had something to do with DNS...
