Do 6870's get too hot?

So I am buying a new graphics card for BF3 and I really like the XFX Radeon HD 6870 because it's a great card for my sub $200 price range. I am only hesitant because some of the reviews talk about how the stock cooling on the XFX 6870 is not so great and that its an internal/external exhaust combo. I don't really like the fact that it dumps its heat into your case, but would that be an issue in the long run? and if I Crossfire two 6870's?

would it make a different if I bought THIS 6870?

Also, would changing the airflow in my case from positive to negative pressure or vice versa help diminish the heat from the internal exhaust if I bought either of those graphics cards?

p.s.
My setup:
Full tower IN-WIN Dragon Rider case
AMD phenom II 840 x4 3.2ghz (stock CPU cooler for now)
Asus M4A87TD EVO
8gb Corsair Vengance DDR3
Antec 650w PSU
current gpu: Nvidia 8600 gts

If you have the cash, go for the gigabyte one johnny posted. I have the 570 version of it, with the three fans. It's absolutely quiet and running very cool.
