I have a Navidia Ge Force (OEM) GT 640 graphics card in my new HP desktop. It has 1 each DVI, HDMI, and Display ports and I am trying to run separate charts on 4 different monitors. An HP rep is telling me this card will run 4 monitors if I use a HGMI 1 to 2 splitter in the HDMI port and split down to 2 VGA or DVI monitor inputs. Is this right? Will a splitter send two different signals to different monitors or will identical signals be sent to both?
