Do i have a bad card?

i was wondering if my GTX 760 was a bad card cause i tried to plug in a second monitor through VGA but after a while the computer froze and i had to reset my computer but my friend has a GTX 580 and he can run 2 monitors no problem, so is my card bad?

Need more info via logs and similar. Was it a BSOD or hard freeze?

i couldnt click on anything but i can move my mouse nothing opened nothing ran
