do i need a floppy?

sry for making a thread just for a yes no question...but ive realized that i havent used a floppy in a long long long long long time...so i was wondering...wen building one...do i need one? i mean they r very cheap but that 10 dollars could go towards my shipping n handling :) cuz im cheap...but ya do i need it? i plan to buy my vista for my new computer...so i was wondering...i can boot from the cd right? so i guess im repeating myself...no floppy? yes floppy?
 
I think they are 5-10.00 OEM on newegg. So the question is, can you afford it in case you do need it?

But to answer your question, you don't need one.
 
No, I wouldn't waste your money on it, pointless, better off spending it on something useful like cable ties :P
