Do i need a new computer or graphics card?

Hi, let me tell you now that i really dont know much about the components for the computer. I just want to know why is my computer running slow i have plenty of space left but whenever im playing flash games it lags!!! so you can just forget me playing any 3D game :confused: and i know that flash games shouldnt lag everything else is fine it runs smooth so if you know please write back thanks.:)
 
I have found that firefox (Internet browser) runs flash games about 1.5x slower than IE. Are you playing in firefox? Or internet explorer?
 
Flash games actually require a fairly fast processor and a decent amount of ram in order to play without lag. If you could post your computer specs and/or model, it would help out alot.

You dont need a new video card, you need a new computer. A video card wont help because your whole computer is so outdated.
 
Buy a whole new computer. Basicly everything on your computer needs to be upgraded. I dont think theres anything on your computer that you can use except maybe the hard drive and cd drive.

Heh, i have been doing this for about 5 years or so. I am around computers 2 hours a day or more, so you start to pick up on it.
 
ur 15 so wouldnt that make u a freshman? well the high school that i go to is all about technology imma soph but its summer so im going to be a junior and well the high school i go to like rents out laptops (u know like colleges do) and we have it for the entire four years of high school so im using that instead of the one im using now so thats why its so old but i dont use it alot

Heh, i am going to be a junior in fall:rolleyes:
 
Age really has nothing to do with knowledge. There are children (8 and up) that have passed the SATs with a near perfect score.

Your computer is outdated to the max, I had a Pentium II from '96 - '98 and even then it was crap to me. Get a decently priced prebuilt system, try not to get a Dell, Gateway or HP if you plan to upgrade.
