do i need an upgraded PSU?

What are the rest of your specs, and what's the brand of PSU? Sounds like you're gonna have to upgrade, especially if the PSU is a bad brand.

Its a intell dual core. Doesnt say the brand of the psu. Has 6gb of ram, windows 7 tb hardrive, and thats pretty much it.

any suggestion on upgrading it? Because the case is pretty small. Should i just buy a new case and swap everything, or should i look for a replacement?

Take a look at his dimensions:

Case Style Small Form Factor
Height 10.08"
Width 3.94"
Depth 13.86"

I have no idea where you would find a PSU to fit that, and I don't even know if your computer could fit a graphics card. It's about as big as my motherboard.

the silverstone 450w recommended is what im currently running on my computer, which has a 6950, 4tb hdd space, 8gb ram, and i5 2500k. definitely an extremely capable psu if itll fit. if not, get a new case!!! there is nothing that says you HAVE to keep the case that your pc came with. also, you might notice that your computers temperatures drop and you can expand your options.

It most likely takes a tfx power supply which maximum wattage is usually around 300 but newegg does have one with 350. Sadly this is the problem when you buy pc's from stores, they are not upgrade friendly. It may not be easy but I would recommend getting a new case and try transferring it over so you can get a better psu and better upgradeability. It all depends on the case connections for usb and power. Most of the time OEM motherboards wont match up to case connections without modding them.

So if i do decide to transfer everything into a new case, how hard would it be? Would everything fit, or have some of the items been modified? I'm willing to post pictures, so you guys can help (if you want) but i wont aquire the money for a couple of weeks.

yes please post pictures of the inside of the current case. also try to find the motherboard manufacturer and model number. that'll help us determine what size the motherboard is and what kinds of cases are available to you.

The Low Profile Card which he is looking at has really low requirements.
a good quality 220W would have supported it.
But since the PSU is an OEM PSU hence I would not trust the Card on it.
I have never seen the inside of that particular case so I do not know how the PSU is fitted in it.
But the PSUs I recommended are SFF standard PSUs.
But still not sure whether it will fit or not.
If the OP can post a picture of the inside of the case it would be great.

Heres the inside of my VERY small computer. Lol

Pretty sure it will.
A case/ps would expand vc options and further upgrades.
Can you post the model and numbers that are printed on the mb?
From looking at the ps, it appears to have a 24 pin and 4 pin.
