Do I need more ram?

My computers specs are down below. Upgrading hte ram has been in the back of my head for a while, But I dont wanna do it if it isnt necessary. any input would be much appreciated. thanks :P .
 
You should be fine for the next 2-3 years. Not exactly sure, but you may want to get another 2 GB of RAM as programs get bigger, but I would wait a while.

what the heck are you using the PC for if you need that much RAM?

thats the very top of the line PC as it sits, and will be for a while.
 
Ya, you need at least 8GB of PC2 9200 for Vista. 2GB Vid Card too. And don't forget the QX6800 in SLI (yes, 8 cores total minimum) get a vid card that can get you by until DX18. lol
 
Well, thanks! I didnt think it was that bad a question, i mean, 1 gig suggested for vista, 1.5 gigs for crysis when it comes out. It seems to me RAM requirements are going up fairly fast (1 gisused to get you through almost everything). and since ram is one of the cheaper parts of a PC, i didnt want a relatively small upgrade to hold back some of the more powerful components. Thanks again.
