Hi Chaps,
I've recently installed Age of Empires 1 and 2 again. I tried to play multiplayer via LAN and it kept freezing in the middle of the game so I'd have to restart, the problem always seemed to be on my side because the other person would just be dropped from the game. I decided to play a single player random map and the same thing happened, it would just freeze. This is for both the AoE games.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled them both, downloaded and applied the latest patches and I even formatted yesterday and installed nothing but the AoE games o_0.
Do I need to upgrade anything do you think? Here is the important info I get from dxdiag:
System Manufacturer: K8UVM
System Model: K8Upgrade-VM800
BIOS: Default System BIOS
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3400+, MMX, 3DNow, ~2.2GHz
Memory: 1984MB RAM
Page File: 237MB used, 3639MB Available
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c
I'm using Windows XP Professional SP2 (I did update to SP3 just before I formatted but it didn't help either
) and my video card is and integrated one: VIA/S3G UniChrome Pro IGP apparantly the capacity is 64MB because my shared RAM is only set to 64MB :/
Does anyone know what the problem could be? And what I should do to fix it? I'd really appreciate any help guys!!!
Keep well,
Victor
