Do OEM Sata HD's not include the Sata cable?

Or screws. So you have to order both the SATA cable and screws when you order the drive.

Huh! My OEM Sata samsung 750gb came with screws! But, no cable. No big deal though

I suppose some come with screws.

Best thing to do is buy a pack of standard screws. Then you don't have to worry about them in the future.

^^ LOL yeah I was bored after I installed my new hdd and was waiting for the 300gb+ of crap to transfer over to my 750gb that I bought. Man that took forever for everything to transfer!

Edit: Even with 32mb cache

yea ive only ever gotten just the oem hdd or ne thing oem in that case, no screws or cables, u may have to purchase a cable but if u have an old computer in ur closet or just laying around u can just take a couple screws from that..

Yeah, generally OEMs are targeted to system builders who have all the parts necessary to install them on hand. For home builders, your motherboard should come with the SATA cables and your case will have the screws/other mounting hardware.

Good to know..I'll check motherboard specs when I order to make sure hardware is included,no use buying extra items that I don't need plus its less hassel.Thx
