Do SSD's behave identically to HDD's?

Other than speed, should an SSD behave exactly the same as an HDD? All the same maintenance, etc.

Or are there quirks specific to an SSD?

You shouldn't defrag an SSD as it will just wear it down faster and won't provide any performance boost like it would on a regular HDD. Other than that not really that I can think of.

They have a nasty habit of making you never ever want to use a traditional platter drive again But yeah, just don't defrag them.
