For Windows 7, using the Chrome Browser, does the number of tabs you have opened on top, slow down ones internet surfing speed? IE, the less tabs you've opened, the faster your surfing speed will be?
Depends on what they're doing. If all the pages are all loaded, then no, it will not effect the internet speed. But if they're all streaming a youtube clip or something, then yes, it will slow down the internet.
But having that many open will effect the performance of your PC. Unless you have a powerful CPU and plenty of RAM, it will slow down your PC. The number of tabs on Chrome each have a separate process using a certain amount of RAM.
Thanks Appreciate Your Answer It Will Help My Computer
Thanks, appreciate your answer as I'll try to close tabs on my Internet Browser in the future instead of leaving them open with the browser minimized to the task bar at the bottom. Was totally unaware of this.
