do you collect Pc magazines?

I have a very large collection of a variety of MacWorld, MacFormat and MacUser - weighing a lot more than I can handle! £5 a magazine, collected since 1997-2003.. you work it out! Moved onto PCGamer and Computer Shopper now, but I just buy them if I have cash, I'm not subscribed.

I do, I collect every issue of PC Magazine and Maximum PC that i've gotten for the past few years. I also have a few PC Magazines from the early 90's.

i wouldnt say "Collect" but i do buy Computeractive here in the uk.

im not subscribed because sometimes the magazines dont have anything im intrested in but lately theres been some good stuff in it like vista info,Competitions, system reviews :)

OT but i collect skateboard magazines! 4 per month for the last 7 years! you do the math cos i cant! and im not subscribbed to a single one :) hope much money am i losing? haha :)

I don't think I've ever opened a computer magazine. In general they just don't interest me, I like to read stuff but magazines just don't interest me.

I have hundreds of books. I couldn't tell you why but I find it almost painful to read magazine articles, yet reading a book is fine (fiction and non-fiction). Maybe it's the 12 pages of ads in the middle, I don't know, the articles are usually well written or they wouldn't be in there. If I see a book about something I'm interested in and it's well written I can pick it up and read for hours.

your crazy cromewell. i know what you mean about the ad's! i read both books and mag's and tbh i like reading a mag on the train but i like to settle with a book :)

I don't exactly collect them, but I do have some old ones... Dad has many from 1995 to 1997. I've got one from 1994 somewhere, along with a 1974 and 1984 Radio Shack magazine. Oh, and we have Nibble from like 1988 to 1992(Apple related magazine)

Same here, I like reading books but not magazines. I don't quite know why though. :)

My public library subscribes to PC World, I have a couple dozen Maximum PCs from the past ten years (very handy to have them around when I needed them!), and a friend of mine picks up other IT mags from hospital waiting areas for me!
