True enough but Asus P5* boards refer to SATA hard drives as running in IDE Mode, RAID Mode or ATPI(?) Mode(something like that can't remember exactly, its another RAID type).IDE just stands for Integrated Drieve Electronics

When you first boot it will default to IDE Mode
