    ASRock MicroATX Motherboard (B450M PRO4)

This BIOS is ver. P3.30 Date: 5/10/2019

    This is from ASRock's website:

    Version Date Size Description
    3.2 5/15/2019 9.16MB 1. Supports AMD next generation Ryzen™ processors

It seems to suggest version 3.2 on supports gen 3. But the date is later than my BIOS date.

You will need version 3.30 or later to support Ryzen gen 3 cpu's. Some require 3.60

Newer versions contain roll-up fixes from previous versions.

    Mine said p3.30
Should I flash the update to the newest version?
And is there any option to roll back?

The notes in the bios update will usually tell you if its not possible to roll back but why would you want to?

    You might
I have an Msi B450 tomahawk with a ryzen 3 3200g and had to flash it with a usb stick
If you install it correctly and it doesn't post, that would be the first thing I'd try

I'd just flash 3.6 and be done with it.

OK. I am going read up on how to flash a BIOS. Never done that before.
    Thanks.

The download note on P3.90 advised not to update it if the system is working OK. And the P3.30 is good for the Ryzen 7 3700x.
I will just wait till the day when I decide which CPU I will upgrade to before flashing it.
    Thanks. for all your advises.
